Is WordPress Having Problems?

I’m having a dumb issue with WordPress for some odd reason.  I’m not sure if it’s the iPhone app or the RSS feeds.  Whenever I make a new blog entry on my iPhone using the WordPress app, it seems like it takes 3 to 4 hours for a blog to get pushed through to Twitter and Facebook.  I wonder if I’ll have the same problems using  That’s what I’m going to find out with this blog entry.

Is anyone else having a weird issue like this or anything else?  Please comment.

What’s Up With Facebook Mobile iPhone App?

Good evening everyone.  🙂

A couple years ago, when iPhone OS 2.0 came out, one of the first Apps that I got was the Facebook app.  Great right?  Well, since then, it’s had a rocky life.

When the Facebook App was release, it was a great app overall.  It was lacking in many areas, but it was a great start at least.

When iPhone OS 3.0 came out last year, there were some difficulties with the app.  As soon as iPhone OS 3.0 came out, the Mobile Developer left the project and passed it on to someone else; someone else with more time to update the app and so on.  I’m thinking, “Great!  This could be good.”  And it has been for the most part.

Now this year, under a new developer, with iOS 4.o out in the wild now and a new iPhone out as well, there seems to me more problems.  I just checked the iTunes reviews and lots of people are complaining about the app crashing all the time.  Funny thing is as soon as I opened up the Facebook app, I was greeted with my home screan.  Huh, I though.

I tried the usual tricks, uninstalling and reinstalling; Failed.  Soft reset, hard reset, nothing worked.  So I submitted my own iTunes review of the app.

Seems that the problems lies with the iPhone 4 specifically.  I hope they push out a fix soon because it’s driving me nuts.

Let’s see what happens in the next few days.

Have you been having problems with the Facebook iPhone app?  Did you write your own review for it in iTunes?  Please feel free to comment. 🙂

Update on TwitterFeed (Part 2)

Well I have another update regarding TwitterFeed and Facebook.

The good news is that it will post to facebook….eventually. After running my own experiment, I discovered that it takes 2 hours from the time posted to the time it shows up on facebook.

It’s not too big of a deal. I just thought it would post at the same time as Twitter would (30 minutes after post).

Oh well, as long as it gets there right? 😉

For now, I’m enjoying a great movie. Overboard. 🙂

Blogging and TwitterFeed

I promise this will be the last blog entry for the night.

I’m running into a small problem with TwitterFeed.  I love the TwitterFeed service, but for some odd reason I run into problems with TwitterFeed sending my blogs to Facebook.  I have the same feed sent to both Twitter and Facebook.  My blog will post to Twitter just fine, but for some reason, it either takes facebook hours to post or it won’t post at all and I have to re-authenticate TwitterFeed with facebook.  Are any of you having this problem?  Please comment if you know what’s going on or if there’s something I’m missing.

Hello everyone.  This will be my first real blog from WordPress!  So far I’m really enjoying my WordPress experience.  Anyway, that’s not what this post is all about.  😀

Anyway, I’m blogging about my cousin’s car.  I hope he doesn’t have a transmission problem.  :/  As I’ve blogged about on my other site, LittlePoopMachine, his car was having brake and accelerator issues.

As we were exiting the freeway and coming to a stop, the car jerked a little bit.  Now that’s nothing new as of a couple days ago, but the acceleration was a different story.  As we turned off the offramp and onto our road, the car jerked heavily as my cousin accelerated.  It felt like the car’s brakes weren’t disengaging.  I have a fair knowledge of vehicles and can identify small problems and whatnot, but when it comes to big stuff like this, it could be anything.

I just hope it’s not the transmission or gears.  We’ll have to wait until to tomorrow and see.  We dropped his car off at the shop and the mechanic said they’d look at it in the morning.  We’ll have to wait and see what happens.
